Since first opening our doors on January 29, 2010, Community & Southern Bank (CSB) has quickly positioned ourselves as one of the best-capitalized banks in Georgia. How have we done it? Specifically, that plan has included acquiring the assets and deposits of seven banks from the FDIC: First National Bank of Georgia in Carrollton, GA; Appalachian Community Bank in Ellijay, GA; The Peoples Bank in Winder, GA (including El Banco de Nuestra Communidad); Bank of Ellijay in Ellijay, GA; First Commerce Community Bank in Douglasville, GA; First Cherokee State Bank in Woodstock, GA; and Georgia Trust Bank in Buford, GA. Today CSB has more than $2.6 billion in assets and more than 30 branch locations in metropolitan Atlanta and across Georgia's northern, eastern, and western regions.
